I'm very excited to share the big news with you: my application for the 2022 Rome Art Week application has been accepted! Therefore I am more than happy to take part in this event for the first time. The venue hosting my work is Assemblea Testaccio, a unique store that offers Italian handmade crafts right in the center of the Testaccio neighborhood in Rome. This is the second time Monica Polledri, the store owner and director, is so kind to warmly welcome me, and I could not be more grateful to her for making room for my work. Monica and I picked the lost identity collection for this event and selected 14 images out of this limited edition collection. Most of the images picked have never been published before.
Due to the special event, nine of the images will be available in the smallest size I ever printed yet, which is 15 by 15 cm and showed in a 17 x 17 cm frame (sort of a special print made for the Rome Art Week!), while three images will be in a 30 by 40 cm frame each and the last two images framed 40 by 50 cm. As usual, each print comes with a certificate of authenticity and it is signed and numbered on the front.
The lost identity collection is a rather newer collection compared to the more popular the home and the hero collection; inspired by the Covid 19 pandemic, it is my personal outlook of the two years or so that followed the mandatory lockdown. The exhibition opens on October 25 and ends on October 29, day by which during the afternoon business hours I will be at the store to meet any visitors who would like to join and say hi.
As any other events in the Rome Art Week set of appointments admission is free.

E' una gran gioia per me condividere con voi che la mia domanda per la partecipazione all'edizione del 2022 del Rome Art Week è stata accettata! Sono quindi più che felice di prendere parte a questo evento per la prima volta. Lo spazio che ospiterà il mio lavoro è Assemblea Testaccio, un negozio unico che raccoglie pezzi di artigianato italiano di artisti talentuosi, nel cuore del quartiere Testaccio. E questa è la seconda volta che Monica Polledri, la proprietaria del negozio, accoglie a braccia aperte la mia collaborazione, e non potrei esserle più grata per aver dato spazio al mio lavoro. Con Monica abbiamo quindi scelto la collezione the lost identity per questo evento e selezionato 14 immagini da questa collezione ad edizione limitata. La maggior parte delle immagini è inedita e viene proposta al pubblico per la prima volta.
Per via di questa speciale occasione, nove delle immagini saranno proposte nella misura più piccola realizzata sin ora, ovvero 15 x 15 cm in cornici 17 x 17 cm (consideriamola una stampa speciale per il Rome Art Week!), mentre tre immagini sono in cornici 30 x 40 cm ciascuna e le ultime due immagini in cornici 40 x 50 cm. Come consuetudine, ciascuna stampa è corredata dal certificato di autenticità, è firmata e vi è indicazione del numero di stampa sul fronte.
La collezione the lost identity è una collezione più recente rispetto alla collezione più conosciuta the homage and the hero; ispirata dalla pandemia da Covid 19, rappresenta la mia visione personale dei due anni o circa che sono seguiti al lockdown. La mostra apre al pubblico martedi 25 ottobre e chiude sabato 29 ottobre quando, nel pomeriggio, potrai trovarmi presso il negozio per incontrare chiunque voglia farmi visita e raggiungerci.
Come ogni altro evento che faccia parte del Rome Art Week, l'ingresso è gratuito.
