As the owner of the ArtSharing Roma art gallery, Penelope Filacchione, whom I thank again for this, referred my work to the DIVO C team, after a selection I was included by the curators Monica Cecchini and Giorgio Sacher, whom I thank as well, into the II edition of this group exhibition. This edition is spread into three different art galleries in Rome exhibiting the works of 22 photographers. The three images I brought into the mix for the "Tempo di Condivisione" 2022 edition were unpublished and out of the third series of the lost identity collection, the dawn. The prints from this limited edition collection are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.

This series, the last of three, narrates the time we started having the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions lifted. The three images in fact, complementary (2020), sharing (2020) and unconditional (2021) are there to emphasize the most precious resource we got, time, and how we decided to spend it once we gained back the chance to freely schedule what we like to do. Some of us decided then to spend it with their family, the biological or the chosen one: a father who teaches his son how to walk, the biological family, in sharing, where the joy of learning and knowledge are shared. The couple of friends taking pictures at each other, the chosen family, in complementary, where complicity is shared. A man walking his dog, who becomes family, in unconditional, where dedication to each other is what is shared. This time spent with each other nourishes our personal growth on a social, spiritual and intellectual level, providing us and the next generations a better future.

The group exhibition opened on April 28 and it was a blast! Besides the many people who came and told me of being engaged by my work (which was very rewarding indeed), I had the chance to compare and dissect my images in front of the other photographers exhibiting in the same gallery, and at the same time hear their process and behind the scenes of their work. This was very interesting and challenging at the same time.

The exhibition has been extended from the initial three day show until May 8. During the extension, you can visit the Artsharing Roma art gallery by appointment. You can find the other two art galleries participating on social media as well, the InCinque Open Art Monti and the Teatro Arciliuto. Admission is free.

Lastly, do not forget you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook or visit the gallery of images any time you want, or even better subscribe to the newsletter from the contact page!

Ciao!
