the in-between silence collection
The in-between silence collection traces the path of a human life, from the first steps of a child reaching for a parent’s hand, to love and companionship, to aging and, eventually, the final walk into departure.
Each image is intentionally blurred. I choose this softness because this is how we truly see and remember: through fragments, where dream and reality melt together in our minds, forming emotions that outlive the present, through feelings and shifting recollections rather than perfect clarity. The out-of-focus figures could be anyone, reminding us that while our features change, the journey we share remains much the same.
This blur becomes my language as life, as we live and recall it, is never perfectly sharp. Imperfect, dissolving, altered, we remember through sensations of what was felt: the warmth of a gesture, the trace of a presence. These fragments shape how we hold the past, how we recognize ourselves in others, and how the essence of a moment outlives its form.
