shot the day after christmas of 2019, this image was taken from the tiber island in rome, with bridge ponte cestio on the foreground and bridge ponte garibaldi on its back. this time i used a welding glass as filter to cut down light (held with rubber bands, I know right?), a pitch black heavy piece of glass so that i could extend exposure up to 30 secs in the middle of the day, smooth the river and get its typical effect as a result when you pick such long exposures. the predominant green cast was kind of a surprise to me as i hadn't shot with a welding glass as filter before. but the final result is actually growing on me up to the point i will replicate the experience once day, the process was fun afterall. the image is out of camera except for some minor adjustments in post mainly due to tone down the green cast.
