More than 30 images grouped together for the first time ever in a brand new solo exhibition hosted in an exclusive and high-end venue located in beautiful Piazza Mazzini, the OTTO Gallery, where the art exhibitions are photography related.
The ongoing photography collection of images the homage and the hero, shot between 2016 and 2023, is meant to point out again the gratitude I have for the works of others in leaving us such stunning pieces of architecture in the eternal city. Aside from this, there is a deep admiration for such beauty when I realized what I had all around and as soon as I started learning photography, shooting regularly in 2013 and seeing things differently (even though that was not supposed to be a surprise in the first place, being born and raised in Rome!).
Some thanks are in order: to Simona Ottolenghi and Roberto Gabriele, who are the owners of the hosting location, where they run a fine and successful business in the hospitality industry. I could not be more grateful to them for this opportunity to show my work in an environment that seems like home and where my work fits right in. Thanks to art curator Dafne Crocella for publishing an amazing article on ArtPlatform about my work. Much grateful for this.
The opening of the exhibition is on Wednesday April 12 from 4 pm to 8 pm in Piazza Mazzini 27. Admission is free, and once you reach the building you ring OTTO Rooms. After the opening and until June 12, you can visit the exhibition every afternoon, from 3 pm to 8 pm by appointment only, by calling this number +393755790929. The finissage is scheduled for Thursday June 8 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Più di trenta immagini raggruppate per la prima volta in una nuova mostra personale ospitata nell'esclusiva e raffinata OTTO Gallery, nel quartiere Prati, proprio su Piazza Mazzini.
La collezione di immagini fotografiche è stata scattata tra il 2016 e il 2023 e tende a sottolineare ancora il mio senso di gratitudine per il lavoro che altri hanno lasciato attraverso gli spettacolari elementi architettonici della città eterna. Oltre a questo c'è un senso di profonda ammirazione per tale bellezza, e la realizzazione di averla “scoperta” solo dopo aver iniziato a studiare fotografia e a scattare regolarmente nel 2013 quando ho iniziato a vedere le cose diversamente (ma visto che Roma è la mia città natale, non avrei dovuto sorprendermi più di tanto 🙂 !).
I ringraziamenti sono d'obbligo: a Simona Ottolenghi e Roberto Gabriele quali sono i proprietari e gestori della sede di OTTO Gallery, una struttura ricettiva nel mezzo del tranquillo quartiere Prati. Non potrei essere loro più grata per avermi dato ospitalità e per l'opportunità di mostrare il mio lavoro in un luogo estremamente accogliente e dove ti trovi a tuo agio sin dal primo ingresso. A Dafne Crocella, curatrice di mostre d'arte (e non solo!) per aver scritto e pubblicato un post sul sito ArtPlatform, le sono estremamente grata.
L’inaugurazione della mostra con ingresso gratuito è il 12 aprile 2023 dalle ore 16 alle ore 20 in Piazza Mazzini 27 presso la OTTO Gallery (piano 4, scala A, citofonare OTTO Rooms).
